Jay Maru
Founder & Lead Trainer
Jay Maru is the Founder of Beyond AI, the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Innovation Portal, and the winner of the inaugural Hatch-a-thon. He spent more than a decade in data strategy and AI development before ever teaching a class, and he's known for translating complex technical concepts into practical, high-impact business solutions.
That building never stopped. Jay spends his weeks inside real businesses: mapping workflows with the people who do them, architecting custom systems that feel like a natural extension of the team, and running them until they hold. The training room is where that fieldwork gets handed over.
Underneath it all is a simple mission: stop smart people from spending their intelligent bandwidth on repetitive work. When the busywork runs itself, people get their time back for the creative, strategic work only they can do.
